    Description

Lord Stanley The NHL Stanley Cup Founder. Historically;  he was known as Lord Stanley of Preston but was also the 16th Earl of Derby.  There are only 41 autographs of Lord Stanley... That makes this  autograph less  then any other  Sport Icon probably in history....He donated the cup and then bought it back at the prompting of his sons. It is the most prestigious icon in sports...The Stanley Cup is named for him. He often signed his letters as Earl Derby which was his favorite position in British history... The autograph your looking at is apart of Hockey History. It is over 100 years old....mind blowing. PSA/DNA registered and encapsulated. His History on the back is impressive and to have one of his auto's from the World famous
" Broderick Collection" is awesome. Google the name Broderick Collection Lord Stanley collection and you will see this card...it is in Wikipedia and very few of Lord Stanley autographs are ever listed. This one is in a old PSA/DNA case and after talking to them they said they could put it in a modern case( not sure if I want to do that) but I'm thinking about it....all I can say is that this autograph with his title Derby makes this a definite
1/1 and highly if not most desirable collectors piece.
the Stanley Cup is named  after him;  and his rightful position as the 16th Earl of Derby makes this card most unique and almost impossible to find....1/1.... I spoke with PSA / DNA and because this card is listed on Google and Wikipedia in the old PSA case they said that it probably would be better to keep it in the original and it will continue to go up in value remember now there are no more Broderick collection autographs of Lord Stanley so that makes this card even rarer but the fact that it is in the Wikipedia and on Google when you look it up you see it it's awesome this card is so unique it is a part of hockey history and it is 123 years old and it should be in anyone's collection who's been waiting to buy one of his autographs because v they're only 41 in the world right now of Lord Stanley's autograph.
