STEIFF JOLANTHE PIG - NO TAGS, NO BUTTON, NO TAIL! (WHAT? NO TAIL?) 1960s - Moh

Steiff Jolanthe pig is in very good condition - his mohair is all intact and his felt ears and mouth are in very good color and shape - no holes or brown spots.  His mohair may be a bit dusty from being played with when I was little, but when I got older, I realized the collector's value of these wonderful playmates and I began taking better care of them displaying them in cabinets and allowing them out only for the holidays - poor things.  He stands 10 cm tall and is about 13 cm. long.  Somewhere along the way, he lost his tail and I fear I must blame my "littles" since I would never play so roughly with my Steiff!  No, not me . . . I always tried to keep their tags intact but this little guy lost so much.  He used to have a red rope around his neck but alas, that too went the way of all things.  He has no button but has the two little cuts are in his ear where the button and flag used to be.  His "chest" tag was never on his chest - but under his left ear on his shoulder - the remnant of the thread which held that tag is visible on his body.  I'm sorry he is not as intact as I would like him to be, but still he is in good condition and would look great in a collection with many brothers and sisters.  I have priced him accordingly.  I hope you will consider making him part of your family as it has been very difficult for me to sell off my Steiff collection.  I will send out the morning after receiving payment and I use USPS First Class mail or priority if you prefer.  Many thanks.
