STEIFF MECKI HEDGEHOG DOLL - 728 B 1954 - 28 CM. VERY GOOD CONDITION - BUTTON &

Steiff Mecki Hedgehog doll -  in good condition except for the "cracking" on his face as it is made of rubber.  I am upset to find this happening as I have had him for over 30 years with no problems - when I unwrapped him recently, I found his rubber face beginning to crack.  How upsetting!  Is it from the cold in my house?  I can't be sure but his clothing is in really good condition - he has his button and yellow flag on his bracelet but is missing his chest tag.  He still has his tobacco pouch intact but is missing the original pipe.  He stands 28 cm. tall.  There is a small whiteish mark on the back of his left pant leg.  Other than these defects, he is in really good condition.  He's a lovely doll to stand amidst a group of Steiff - after all, he is the protector of the forest animals!  I am selling off my Steiff collection as we are down-sizing and moving to a smaller home.  Thanks for looking and for considering adding this fellow to your collection.  I will send this fellow out the morning after receiving payment via USPS First Class mail or priority if you prefer.  Thank you.
