Steiff Rare Vintage ENGLISH BULLDOG 1960s Mohair Plush Dog 7 1/2"

Description

This English Bulldog is a rare Steiff made in the 1960s, sold exclusively in the United States.  He has googly eyes, two tiny white teeth that poke from his pink felt mouth, a stitched nose, and elaborate airbrushing. His mohair is smooth and clean. There are some small areas of mohair loss on his rear legs and under his chin.  Please see photos for details. His original red collar and hair ruff have been replaced by a leather harness that looks very stylish on him. He has a swivel head.  He measures approximately 7.5" inches tall by 9" length.  Bully no longer has his ID.  He is a wonderful vintage Steiff with the classic character that makes Steiff animals so timeless.
