This black-eyed zebra (not the usual brown with black) was a hand-me-down-gift to a young me, from a German relative in the 1960s. It spent much time on a shelf and was then stored in a suitcase for decades in a smoke-free home. It has signs of wear to the mohair on the hooves ( mostly bottoms but some on front edge) and also as shown in the photos, the top edge of the mane, as well as patches where a halter/bridle would have been ? The photos show it clearly. The tail "hair" has some worn patches but still with plenty of length to it ( see photos ). When casually looking at the zebra, one would see a beautiful, lush mohair-covered stuffed animal. The mentioned damaged areas are not something that your eyes are drawn to. I would be happy to provide more photos or answer any questions. Thank you for looking !
