    Two Steiff Whittie Owls – Nice Condition – 4” and 5 ½” – Germany
    These are 2 Steiff's 'Wittie's. Made from 1954 – 1978, stand 4” & 5 ½’ tall from the bottom of feet to the top of head. ‘Wittie' is his name and appropriate for any wise old owl.  Made of soft tan mohair with the hand detailing.  They have hand shaded details: spots front and back and darker on the top of wings and head, and horns.  THE COOLEST....if you didn't know their eyes will Glow in the Dark. Some folks have forgotten that very clever detail.  The beak, end of wings and feet are wool felt. There is a trace of green on bottom feet.  Also, the heads turn.  See pictures for details.
