VINTAGE STEIFF JOCKO CHIMPANZEE
Wonderful vintage 1960s mohair stuffed Steiff Jocko Chimpanzee measuring about 11-1/2" in size. Featuring a jointed body that can be posed in a variety of positions, he has airbrushed wool felt ears, face, hands and feet - he was issued in the 1950s. His face is so realistic with glass or plastic eyes and a molded snout with air brushed nose and shading - please note - there are no Steiff tags remaining.
Condition is good with flattening to the mohair from storage - no smells, pets, discoloration, smokers, etc. - no bug damage or other issues - please note - the squeeker no longer works. Incredibly well made and wonderfully realistic -- exactly what you would expect from Steiff. A charming smaller size - nice addition to any collection or display!
