VINTAGE ORIGINAL STEIFF WITTIE THE OWL

Here is Wittie, that gorgeous owl created by Steiff. This one is in the vintage category, where they were made late 1950's to 1960. Wittie stands tall at 9 inches and retains all of his original mohair. His huge green eyes are luminous and so pretty and there are touches of green about his furry body. His original hang tag is well intact, but sadly his button is gone. This handsome Steiff owl came to my hands at a recent auction and he is looking for a new nestling place to call home.
