Steiff produced this dromedary in four sizes and this is the smallest of the four.
Born sometime between 1953 and 1958, he is wearing his Steiff raised script ear button and linen ear flag which displays his EAN 1514,0
Dromedary stands approx 5 ¾ inches tall and approx 4 ¾ inches long (not counting the tail). His covering is wool plush and velvet and he has airbrushed details. Painted nose.
These early EAN Steiff animals are highly sought by collectors and this one is in very good condition for his age (at least 55 years old but possibly as old as 60).
Sweet and well-behaved, would be the perfect camel to adopt.
