Vintage Steiff Chimpanzee Hand Puppet Jocko

Description

This playful hand puppet incarnation of venerable Steiff chimpanzee, Jocko, is in excellent condition, including his ear button but without his original tags. He comes from my mom's extensive Steiff collection (she's the original owner).
Jocko's thoughtful eyes and slight grin afford him a sage, knowing look. He has chocolate-colored mohair fur, glass eyes, and felt hands and face. He is 8 1/2" tall, and 10" wide with his arms spread.
He seems most likely identifiable as Steiff EAN # 6500/17, and so was made between 1959 and 1978.
