Vintage Steiff Jtd. Beppo Dachshund @1963-1964 RSB Flag & Collar 11cm

For your consideration: Vintage Steiff Jtd. Beppo Dachshund @1963-1964 only 11cm or 4"T
From my own collection & shown here with a little sparrow for scale, Beppo is the smaller of two sizes in his family.
He is such a joyful dog, which Steiff
achieved
by pinning his ears back & his tongue out. He is not as black as when he was
new, but I think his sweet face dismisses that. Beppo is duo colored, mohair made five way jointed, with amber glass eyes, an
open felt mouth(with that red felt tongue) & tacked back ears. He still wears his original red collar with the grommet that once held
his chest tag & retains his Raised script button, with faded flag attached. If you could read it, his ean would be #1311,06 & he was
made from 1963-1864 & then briefly again from 1966-1967. The last picture shows him with his brother, who has been sold.
